[She] has a lot of balls to come forward and be on that side, because there is an angry mob on my side.

Jenny McCarthy has taken aim at Amanda Peet over scathing comments the actress made about parents who refuse to vaccinate their children.
McCarthy is leading a campaign to overhaul America's immunisation programmes, claiming vaccinations are largely responsible for autism.
The actress/model, who is the mother of a recovered autistic child, led a rally in Washington, D.C. this summer, calling for the Federal Government to clean vaccines of all toxins and to change a loaded schedule of immunisation, which experts claim leads to the cause of autism.
The cause is controversial because leading medical groups insist there's no clear proof that vaccinations lead to autism.
And the issue hit the headlines again earlier this year when new mum Peet spoke out against those refusing to vaccinate their children from diseases. The actress called parents taking the stand "parasites" in a magazine interview.
She said: "There are a lot of misconceptions about the dangers of vaccinations... (but) frankly, I feel that parents who don't vaccinate their children are parasites."
She has since apologised for her comments, but McCarthy, for one, is refusing to accept The Whole Nine Yards star's regrets.
She rages: "She has a lot of balls to come forward and be on that side, because there is an angry mob on my side. I like the fact that I can say she's completely wrong... Until she walks in our shoes she has no idea."
Meanwhile, officials at the steering group that McCarthy represents - Autism United - are calling for members to boycott Peet's films after learning she has agreed to become a celebrity spokesperson for rival child welfare group Every Child By Two - because she was concerned about the information about vaccinations circulating throughout Hollywood.
Autism United executive director John Gilmore says, "We want to send a clear message to her (Peet). Our community will not support the continued misinformation that is funneled into the media by organisations like ECBT.
"We are not against vaccines, rather we are for safe vaccines. Until they understand that, we won't back down. Ms Peet's comments are deplorable and an apology will not suffice. We applaud Jenny McCarthy's continued efforts and for speaking up for our community."

That stupid McCarthy b***h... Well, until she's walked in my shoes, the b***h has no right to dictate the reality of life for autistic people - especially if her only qualification is second-hand experience, being the mother of a "recovered" (older) autistic boy.
I guess some of that silicone must've leaked into her blood and caused her brain damage. Because, you know, if their mystical chelation voodoo "cured" autism, that would mean medical science is all illusion, and such a scenario would be possible.
Whattabitch.

Just for a few seconds there, I thought the "child welfare group Every Child By Two" was a reference to the proper number of parents.
That would be a real child welfare group.
I was gonna google them, join up, and do everything I can to support them.
Shouda known better. Just the usual multibillion dollar pharmaceutical corporations investing hundreds of millions of dollars to bribe people who say those multibillion dollar corporations have never done anything wrong.

Did you say that wasn't proper? Did you march out on the track?
You were quiet, just like mice. And now you say that we're not nice.
Well thank you buddy for your advice...

Speaking as a mother, there are a lot of people that agree with this voodoo. Every time I or another parent says they feel otherwise, we are bamboozled that we are just in denial. So as much as I'd like to believe McCarthy isn't really heard, I know she is. I have my own boycott against her and her insane ideas. Not to mention her only partially "recovered" son (have you seen him, he's still clearly autistic) is just suffering from her misguided attempts to rid the world of autistic people.
As someone both on the autistic spectrum, and the parent of a child with autism, this is horrible. I was never vaccinated as a child, although, my parents refused for religious reasons. Both of my boys have been vaccinated. My youngest is autistic, and I believe that his being autistic is because of vaccines, is about as credible as he is autistic because he ate some martian moon rocks that accidentally collided with the moon. Initially, my wife was on the same bandwagon as Jenny McSmarty-pants, but has fallen off the wagon, thank god.
