Why is it that Christmas seems to give people an excuse to stink up the place (it doesn't matter if its a hospital/doctor's office/school/office building/restaurant/etc...anywhere I go, basically) with whatever's handy? Anywhere it seems I go, I get bombarded with cheap cinnamon, pine, peppermint, and miscellaneous air freshener spray and potpourri and just the mixing of the smells...
It makes me want to hang around in the sub zero weather outside just to keep from throwing up.
Any sensory rants that you guys have for this time of year?
I know exactly what you mean, while some scents are barable, walking into a porrly planned grouping of scents is hell. Its like someone blended the right blend of pain and agony to make my hea spin. If its a single scent that is not too powerful, I dont mind it. Otherwise I hate it with a passion, and that is why I think spray deoderants should be internationally banned. However, regardless of how strong, I love the smell of fresh cooking, it makes me want to enjoy whatever is being cooked.
