well I have motor coordination problems so not as apt to play sports as normal people. if I had a bball hoop I might do that once in a while. can't bring myself to go on a treadmill or another machine regularly. kind of boring and too strenuous. maybe I should do laps. I wonder what that would be like. hopefully i could do it. there's always playing sport on Wii.

I'm pretty clumsy and never played sports, but for the last several years I've been running and I've got to love it. Runner's High--my drug of choice.

The only exercise I do is walking, and I can't do that for too long because of my poor motor skills, and the fact that I have flat feet.
I used to work out at my home gym. I have dumbells, weights, a fitness trampoline and one of those ab king pro things.
The trampoline was a really good workout.

Gods yes. I don't really enjoy many physical activities. I like to shoot hoops, but the courts aren't nearby so I can't do that regularly, and just shooting hoops isn't really exercise. I like to canoe, but there are no places that have rentals available on the water where I'm at, you have to have a trailer or a rack to rent a canoe and drive it to the water, and it costs $40 to rent the canoe for a few hours, so that's out.

Lately I've been playing video games while riding my recumbent exercise bike and I've been keeping it up for about a month, hopefully I'll be able to keep it up because it's about the only thing I don't mind doing, seeing as I'm getting a work out while having some fun. Though I can only sit on the bike for about 20 minutes before my bottom gets sore, so I have to stand for 10 minutes then get back on.

You can walk flat on the treadmill and have it on any speed you want. It also helps improve your balance because it improved mine. I did track when I was 17 and I felt clumsy in sports because I am not as coordinated as everyone else but when I was 18, I had easier time doing the warm ups because I had been working on the treadmill and it helped my balance.

You can just walk outside. Great exercise. I walk approx. 20 blocks to McDonalds and back for a redbox dvd. I didn't do that today though. I have been cooped up in here with the TV on. I was lazy.

I'm not motivated enough to regularly go to the gym--although I do go from time to time and have short continuous spurts. On the other hand, I have found that I personally am able to rollerblade--and even break the stereotype as I can skate on ramps and such. Anyway, that's what I try to do for fun AND exercise. It's really good since it does a good job of emulating sprints--which is better for your heart.

Yeah I hate it. It's boring, I can't breathe, and I sweat like a pig. I still force myslef to do it every day :(

If you can. Find something you enjoy. Like swimming maybe, go for a run outside. Play sport if possible. I do that, but still go down the gym and circuit training. Mix it up a bit, and make it more interesting. Cause just forcing yourself to exercise in a plain situation is soul destroying.

I don't like to treadmill or jump rope. I would rather go someplace that I don't go to often that requires a lot of walking, hiking, or climbing.
I was walking a lot and my left achilles tendon became tender so I stopped. I was walking a couple of miles every day when I should have been walking, maybe, four times a week.

Agreed. I usually get too bored to keep exercising. I've found that it helps to have something to listen to or watch while exercising.

What REALLY helps is finding some sort of activity you actually enjoy. I had a lot of fun just sparring in jiu-jitsu, which is a GREAT workout.
