How could I organise my time?
So, yesterday it's been another day spent all alone in my room. I live in a small village and there isn't even a place here to go for walk... So I'm stuck at home. And it's really depressing... How other people with asperger's manage this? How could I get rid of those feelings of emptines? I don't want to live like that, because the longer I'm here alone, so isolated, the worse I feel...
What could I possibly do? How could I organise my time, to stop feeling so purposeless? Please, give me some advice.
I personally would go for long bike rides if i had a bike in your situation. Or look up interesting/non-mainstream skilled hobbies e.g. Parkour? and just practice it, find a forum and develop a liking for it. It would be great for exercise and give me something to look forward too each day and kill off depression. Bottomline, you need to get outside a bit each day, find something fun to do outside. Into photography?
With bike it's the same as with walk - I can't do it, because I live next to the noisy highway and it isn't very pleasent to be next to it... Photography? I don't have camera... I have no hobbies, that is my problem
i occasionally get this feeling of emptiness.it gets very depressing then.i sometimes try removing the boredem by talking with people i like.you may also spend your time with your dear and near ones.you can get a hobby .then you will have wonderful time.you can also watch movie listen to your favourite music.
But I do not know what hobbies could I take up...
As for the dear ones - they live 15 miles away fom me and its hard to get to them; that is why I feel I need to organise my time alone somehow...
Join a club, preferably sports unless you're a klutz. But even a friendly female klutz can get to know people by doing sports twice a week. Most places offer free trainings without obligations to join or pay.

look for things u like doing.many aspies like collecting stuff and you can try that too.if you have special interest in topcs you can gather as much information as you can and become a master on it.also if you like drawing or skeching that can be good pass time too.you can try writting short story or even poems.
this is all i can say if that comes to any help.
same here, i am stuck at home all day, in a village, near a boring town where there's never anything to see or do. if you find the answer please let me know!
it's the isolation that kills me, and not ever being able to get away from it... even if i do go out, i still feel isolated from what's going on around me. i can't win ![]()

I go through phases like that, and sometimes it gets really bad. I was feeling like that last year, and then I got inspired to create something. This won't apply to you, but in my particular case, it came about after seeing a few movies by Alan Rickman (my obsession, lol). I was really touched by how he puts so much dedication into his work, and holds himself to a high standard, and I decided that I HAD to challenge myself to do something similar...simply because I wanted to be like him. So I chose a creative project that involved learning some new skills and worked on it for a long time, constantly reminding myself to do my best and not give up. It's not important what the project was...what's important is that I learned new skills, challenged myself, and kept at it until it was done. It took me a few months to complete, and doing it lifting me out of a depression, and did wonders for my self-esteem. It gave me a sense of accomplishment, which I desperately needed.
So perhaps you might want to try some kind of creative project? Something that gets you learning and growing. One possible suggestion is learning to knit. It's not everyone's cup of tea, I know, but it can be very satisfying, especially if you are using a yarn that feels good on your fingers (not cheap drug-store yarn, that feels all crusty and splits and frays). It's especially nice if colors and textures are pleasing to you, because you can choose yarns that make you feel good.
I hope something in here is helpful. Edited to add: I just realized that what I wrote won't exactly help you become un-isolated. I was thinking mostly along the lines of general depression and feeling stuck. I think it all ties in together, though.

I'm living in a similar village, but a notable city's only about an hour away. So, to get rid of that feeling of lonelyness and purposelessness, just last week I decided to at least visit the university's library on a regular schedule.
Netbook at hand, blogging or coding along while the real students study their courses' stuff or else. I'm with people but truly without any need to really get in touch, socialize. That's my approach.
As there are other place I could go, I'm still trying alternative places where I can have the same. Currently, I'm curious what a nearby's airport would be like to sit there and blog and be with travelers while not.
But I do not know what hobbies could I take up...
