Hi everyone

I have finally received my summons and will be evaluated for AS 4th Feb. Needless to say I am fairly anxious about it.
I have some idea of what to expect (WAIS test, being questioned about the aspects of my life these traits affect). Yet I would very much appreciate if those of you who have already gone through this process could give me some pointers.

What can I expect?
Is there anything I should make it a point to mention? (I have in advance sent a letter describing my situation with some examples of issues from preschool age to adulthood and how I meet the criteria.)
Is there any mistake you have done in this situation that I should avoid to prevent misunderstanding? (The thing I worry about the most is being misdiagnosed, as it seems lots of people with AS have gone through a menagerie of diagnoses before they found out it was AS.)

I would really appreciate some feedback.

If you just answer truthfully and be yourself there should be no reason for misdiagnosis. I don't think you have anything to worry about mate.

You sound like you're pretty well prepared already. One thing you could do though is gather as much information as possible from other people on your development from a very young age, as they concentrate quite alot on this. Maybe you have some older family members you could ask about it?

Good luck, by the way!

Thank you very much for your advice and support, guys! I really do appreciate it.
I hadn`t even considered asking older family members about things I don`t remember myself, I had only looked at my own memories at that point. I have asked for and received more such info from my parents, so now I am better prepared.
Thank you very much for that advice!
