Aspergers.

Social anxiety. Depression. Anger issues. Bouts of feeling nothing at all/apathy.

Does that count? If so, then yeah, I have both.

I have social anxiety, bipolar disorder, &, though I haven't been diagnosed yet, everything (except for a couple things) fits for Asperger's.

I have emotional instability, I'm not mood swingy, but it is eay to make me upset. If I am depressed, which I have been at one time, my emotional instability is even worse.

I'm not really sure. I do know that I really really need an expert's detailed diagnoses, because I have never known anyone who's nearly as emotionally disturbed and unstable as I am.

If you are PDD-NOS you are not AS, this is because the two are the different versions of the same thing. They are both Autism, just different forms of it, you cannot have one and another. PDD-NOS just means they couldn't classify you into one of the current classes of Autism, but know you have a form of Autism. And I use the word Autism to refer to ASDs, and Classical Autism to refer to what most people consider Autism.

Ah... well... yes, but did she mean that or did she mean it differently?

Because you also can be diagnosed with one PDD but actually have another. She could have meant that too, I guess.

I'm also diagnosed with AS despite that I do not fit the criteria of the DSM.

For me, it's PDD-NOS and depression. But, I was born in 1988 and diagnosed when I was 4, which would be in 1992. Asperger's Syndrome wasn't officialy recognized in the U.S. until 1994. So the fact that my intelligence was higher than normal probably didn't make much sense to the doctor at the time, since a high-intelligence form of Autism was not known. Now I believe I have Asperger's Syndrome.

Actually aspergers syndrome wasn't recognized as a diagnosis some places before the 90s. I was diagnosed PDD-NOS in the 80s so I may have AS.
