Probably not too bad, I can pass for a kind of weird normal person most of the time. Or maybe I just learned to adapt, I did have hell as a child.

I suppose mine is realtively severe but the casual observer would think I am eccentric. People who have to relate closely with me have more problems and notice more. For instance if I start a project I will not stop or take a break until it is finished. If that process includes spending a lot of money, living in the shop or office, stayiung awake for days on end and recoming a recluse then so be it.
I do not speak to people, even when spoken to, unless I think I have something significant to say. I do not go 'out' for any reason unless it is close to an emergency situation. I might go to the supermarket late at night when there are less people if I run out of milk or pet food. I will ignore bills and statements indeffinately since they have no importance to me. I flinch quite badly if somebody makes any sudden gestures around me which startles strangers. I can on only for aboiut several pages but I think you get the idea.

I don't how severe mine is, but I do know that I don't have horrible sensory issues that cripple my day to day life, and I don't have most of the comorbids, but I have a horrible time with other people. I would say I have no friends, as I have never been that close to other people. I do not know how to act in most social situations and often make a fool of myself or just push people away. I can't talk to most people without a reason forcing me to tslk to them. If I want to talk to someone, I have to have a reason to say what it is I want to talk to them about.

actually, it's hard to tell. I'm probably better than most, but I'm still in there. I've had to develop coping mechanisms for something I didn't understand, so I could be worse in general, but better adjusted.

Impossible to say for sure. I'm better off than the other people affected by AS that I've met in my life.

Well the clear majority of replyers believe they are mildly effected. This means one of the following:
* We believe Moderate AS to be more sevre than it is
* We believe we are less effected than we actually are
* The majority of people who replied actually are mildly effected.

Whatdaya think?
