Are people more willing to discuss their dreams or their night mares?

Go to edit your post that started the thread.

Scroll down. Below the bottom of the post you should see extra lines. One says "Poll Question." Write your question there. One says "poll option" or something similar. Write the first option...."dreams" or whatever. Then you submit or enter or click it (forget without looking at the thing) and another line appears for your next option "nightmares." Keep clicking until you have added all your options. Then submit.

2. optimism
3. avoidence

in gerneral terms, to repeat. Actually nothing in reality. we'll see

I didn't vote because I think I'm fairly willing to talk about either, if there's something interesting or relevant to talk about that is.

And then there's always those dreams which are on the border of nightmares. I had one of those recently and talked about it, mainly because it had awesome graphics and I want to maybe draw/paint it some time.

I voted for nightmares. I tend to have those almost every night, and I usually remember them after I wake up.

I remember nightmares better than dreams anyhow....

I'm fine with either, but I feel more COMPELLED to discuss nightmares if they freak me out, whereas dreams are merely interesting.

I tend to agree with sophist, i am an open book, as much as possible.
Although i cannot draw or paint.
In all, i remember really enjoying my dreams when i was a teenager.

My dream would be that more people would dare to aspire, to dream; they would pursue these things also.

My nightmare is that people are more comfortable discussing their fears. I fear that would be reiffying.

I fear that I should be in bed right now, dreaming. But I am not.

I am cool with discussing either, but i would probably talk about nightmares if i was left to decide, because they stand out more in my memory.

I can discuss either because all my dreams have nightmarish elements and all my nightmares have dream-like elements.

I don't care, and I'll discuss both. I'm more inclined to discuss them if the are weird or funny.

I'm more likely to discuss my dreams because they don't freak me out as much. I'll keep the nightmares to myself because I get disturbed by them and think of it as a weakness to do so, thus avoid sharing the feelings. I know, it's a bad system but I don't know how to get out of it. I've only ever talked about a couple of my nightmares, but everytime I remember a dream I share it with someone - usually because it's so weird, and I can pick up things that are bothering me.
