What type of people (in terms of personality mostly) are you more comfortable around or towards? Extroverts or Introverts? Family or Friends?

I really want to know if you feel more drawn towards people with ceratin characteristics. For me I suppose I'm more drawn and comfortable around people like myself. Quiet, introverted and who are not nosy. I seem to be drawn to people who have a welcoming and understanding demeanor. How about you? Do you feel that being around certain people to be less of a hassle and others more of a pain?

People double my age or older. I find myself much more comfortable with the middle-aged and above than with my peers.

My circle of friends reflects that I am not drawn to any particular characteristics in people besides a certain type of deep respect for me - though this is not synonymous with acceptance or agreement or unconditional respect to my traits.

people that I know well. I don't like people that I don't already know, so that leaves me with a very small group of friends that I met as a small child, plus "satellites" as I like to call them- friends of my friends who have been hanging around with them for long enough.

I'm most comfortable around people I know well, as there are some I don't feel nervous talking to.

Mostly introverts, but I also seem to be drawn towards extroverts who are nice, have a sick sense of humor, and aren't bounce-off-the-walls obnoxious. If I'm in the mood, they seem to help me feel at ease, maybe because they tend to lead the conversation in a group.

Yes, I am much more comfortable around certain people than others...not only that, but I think I even act like 2 different people, depending on whether I feel comfortable or not. I seem to connect best with people who share my special interests. Just having someone to talk to about a certain subject matter makes the whole interaction easier- (and I have trouble with small talk). For this reason, I generally feel better with other theater and dance people. I know what to say to them, and I can "read" them better, so it feels pretty natural. When I´m with non-theater people, it gets much harder, and I just don´t know what to say. I usually feel awful in these situations...(unless they happen to share another special interest), so it feels awkward, unnatural and stressful.

I seem to get along particularly well with gay men. Don´t know why, we just seem to mix well.

am dont interact or communicate in any form with people have not had a routine built up with-it is like they do not exist if have not built routine first.
Am really like some people-they all happen to be support staff, they're either from trafford LD residential team,or they work for the national autistic society.

With people am like-will mess with them to interact,if its most favourite staff will fall on floor and wrap self around their legs to stop them going as get very desperate to keep them there.

That's really the main thing that could make me comfortable around people, also I can sense this welcoming and understanding demeanour ...

However, if a person is proud and presumptuous, or refuses to treat you as an equal or friend (again I sense these things) I will never feel comfortable around them ...

I am comfortable around people who are grounded and down-to-earth.

I am more comfortable around extroverts than introverts, they make more of an effort to be friendly so I don't have to lead. There is a limit, though.

The welcoming and understanding demeanor is also a plus for me.

I am more comfortable around much younger people, my little family and other people on the spectrum.
