have nothing at all? I am like this. If I can relate to a person, everything is very fluid and instinctual (including the body language) when conversing. If not, it's a miss. When I talk to people, it's often hit or miss depending on the vibes they send me.

Particles versus waves topic

There are some members here whose writing is a total disconnect for me, but he/she must have said something comprehensible, due to replies to the posts. Then I read these replies trying to discern what was written. I cannot fathom stand-alone sentences, but I understand that some members have learning challenges and who cannot write in a more conventional way, with connecting sentences and paragraphs.

I have CAPD and this impacts when I read certain posts here. This is more pronounced in real time encounters with humans. I understand very little when they speak to me and they conclude I am challenged. (Yes, I am!)

Are you often too deep in your own thoughts to really pay attention to what another person is saying to you? That happens to me at times.

Not quite. With some people I can talk about certain things very fluidly, but the conversation usually goes other places and I drop out or am left behind. I've never connected 100% with anybody.
