Not really. Chavs is a general term for working class kids who have nothing better to do than hang around on the streets causing trouble, not learning, and being ignorant, nasty morons. Also known as "Council Housed And Violent". They all think that they're tough with their "gangsta bling". It isn't even British, it's imported from the ghettos of LA.

Yeah. You can normally expect that they want to be rappers, have STDs, wear crappy clothes, think it's cool "hanging in the hood", causing trouble, being antisocial, and ignorant scum of society. Stereotypical chavs don't read or think of anything intellectual, either.
