I guess so, but I don't really know.

Well, we always eat the same meal and desert, and exchange gifts, but beyond that, not really. I used to watch the cartoons sent in the early afternoon but the last 10-15 years my father just has to play his moronic games then, so instead of cartoons we “enjoy” the ratatatatatata of machine guns and “affirmative, sir” and “mission failed”. How I hate 1st person shooting games! Nothing says xmas like apparently living in a war zone

The next person will be celebrating Christmas on Christmas day and not Christmas Eve, like we do here.

True...but some Americans open gifts on Christmas Eve.

The next person eats ham for Christmas meal.

Yeah, but because it's in summer here, my family eats it as part of a cold cuts lunch. Either that or we have a beach barbecue, usually before Christmas Day itself.

It's weird how little Aussies know about their own history, especially non-white history. I would've said Indigenous Australians regarding who discovered Australia (being an indigenous New Zealander, myself ). Otherwise, I would've gone with Abel Tasman ... and I would've been wrong. There were another couple of other questions in that test on the video that I couldn't answer. Glad I didn't have to pass a test when I became an Australian citizen (over ten years ago). Aside from the paperwork, all I had to do was prove I could speak English ... easy enough for a Kiwi.

The next person knows the complex origins of Christmas.

I know some of it, like The wild hunt, Saturnalia, Solstice offering (blot), Mithra, Sinterklaas, and probably other factors I've forgotten right now, but there are also aspects I no doubt haven't heard of.

I've heard of that before from Aussies I've known in the past but I never get used to the idea of cold food or BBQ for Christmas.

The next person will have pork roast for Christmas.

Pork roast? Maybe. I might go out to a soup kitchen like I did for Thanksgiving.

The next person is not expecting any huge presents this year for Christmas.

I never expect presents. I still wait for Santa though.

The next person likes climbing trees.

I did as a child, when I found trees that were just made for climbing. I haven't climbed a tree since elementary school though.

The next person did fairly well on a skateboard.

You know, I've never tried skateboarding.

The next person enjoys horseback riding.

My only experience with horses (ponies) was a week-long course when I was 8 or 9. I find horses… big! I wouldn’t say that I’m afraid of them, but I would say that I don’t lack respect for them. Actually I’m not afraid of them, but I’m not entirely comfortable around them.

The next person knows how enormous cows are. (Boy, was that a shock for a city girl! Even sheep was shockingly big)

Sure I do. There are a million cow fields in the US, and I've always lived in areas that had lots of cows.

The next person thinks alpacas are cuter than llamas.

I don’t have a preference, they’re both cute.

Not as cute as horses.

The next person has an kind of animal that they love almost as much as they love turtles.

Well, I do love collies (and dogs generally).
There are other animals as well that are special to me (subjectively precious above other animals) but none that I love in an almost-turtle kind of way.

The next person couldn't choose between dogs, cats and horses.

I could. I would choose cats. Here is why.....dogs are more high maintenance than cats, and horse are really high maintenance. I love them all though.

The next person has never had a pet bunny.

Wrong, I’ve had one pet bunny. I never want one again! Rabita managed to jump up everywhere and often she left behind proof that she’d been there as well. In addition she gnawed on everything and bit. Maybe bunnies don’t fit in apartments.

The next person never had a pet guinea pig.

That would be correct. The only pets I've had were 6 cats, 1 dog, a bunch of fish, and a frog.
