Obamacare annoys me because it's like you're being held up at gunpoint to make a choice. I know exactly what both sides are saying, but the gunpoint aspect of it doesn't sit well with me. I do appreciate the fact that if you have a pre-defined condition it doesn't matter, but it's so complicated and convoluted that it may even involve Medicare & Medicaid payments which affects those of us in ABD, Aged Blind and Disabled.

Yeah, I do. I hate being in limbo about how the rent will be paid, where is my next meal coming from, will I get any spending cash soon, etc.

And yeah, of those two I'd prefer The Seekers' version.

Personally, I have a soft spot for André Rieu's orchestral rendition. But I'd have to say that John Williamson probably performs the song better than anyone:

John Williamson's version is nice, but I do prefer the Seekers, I think their version is lovely.

Yeah, I like patriotic music a lot (not limited to my area/country). Two Norwegian favorites in that respect would be "Norge i rødt, hvitt og blått"

And thanks for the videos, Skilpadde. They sound like typical northern European songs, although I couldn't understand what the songs were about (other than Norway, presumably). That bell organ was pretty cool, too. NZ doesn't have many patriotic songs, but Pokarekare Ana is probably the most well known.

The first one I posted is kind of a second national anthem in a way. The first verse speaks of how nature mimics the colors of the flag. The second verse compares two youths to the colors of the flag. The third verse is basically about how magnificent the country is and how proud Norwegians are of it.
The second video is about Akerselva, the river flowing through Oslo, the capital of Norway. The lyrics of the song speaks of the river and how much greater it is than other rivers.
