Yeah. Did you ever hear about that turtle in Missouri that was caught in the plastic rings, and as the turtle grew, the ring was preventing proper growth. The shell is deformed and looks like a hourglass.

Peanut. Yep, I’ve heard of her, and I’ve seen the pictures. I’ve also seen a sea turtle whose shell was sort of fused with a car tire. Not to mention the slow agonizing deaths of the thousands of marine life eating plastic bags they mistake for jellyfish and other plastics.

When I have plastic rings I do. It’s rather seldom I get stuff that comes with them though.
