Dyed it.

He preferred Priscilla to dye her hair black, as well.

I just read in today's newspaper, that researchers at Belgium's universite libre de bruxelles, caught a bunch of cockroaches, affixed radio tags and studied their movements. they quickly found that there were two basic behavioral patterns- "explorers" who were more curious, and "shy" cockroaches who were more cautious. the explorers were necessary for locating food sources, but at the explorer's higher rate of externally imposed demise [heavy object, roach motels et al]. the shy cockroaches also were necessary for the viability of the group- a mixture of the two types ensures cockroaches' well-noted indestructibility. I mention this in the hopes that perhaps, after reading this, WP readers might be a bit kinder to the cockroach. they are a nice color, after all. :alien:

There are a few cultures whose language incorporates cardinal directions in everyday speech. Unlike how we would say 'left, right' for general directions from our own body outward, their language functions with east/west/north/south ... so instead of telling you 'take a left at the corner' they would say 'at the corner turn north'.

As a result (and this has been scientifically tested and proven true), the speakers of these languages have an almost flawless sense of direction... because in their mind, they always keep track of their cardinal facing every step and every turn they take.... just as you'd remember 'I turned left here' they remember 'I turned east/north/west/south here'.

VY Canis Majoris is a red hypergiant in the constellation Canis Major. It is 2,000 times bigger than the Sun. VY Canis Majoris is the largest star in the universe in terms of size, and is 30 to 40 times as heavy as the sun. To put things into perspective, if we could take VY Canis Majoris and put it in our solar system in place of the sun, it would stick out past Saturn’s orbit. It is so large that light takes about 6 hours to go from one side of it to the other side.

from what I can tell, male's V-shaped torso indicates high levels of testosterone, upper body strength, general mobility and energy. women's hourglass figure indicates fecundity. physical symmetry in both genders indicates good genes and good health.

Queen Victoria din not like Gladstone.

At all.

Neither did Disraeli.

Disraeli so disliked Gladstone that when discussing the difference between a tragedy and a catastrophe, he said that, for instance,

'If Gladstone fell into the Thames, that would be a tragedy.

If someone pulled him out, THAT would be a catastrophe.'
