we cannot defeat the badgers.

instead we must learn to accept them as our new overlords and learn which foods they like so we can prepare them delicious meals to keep them satisfied lest they wish to kill us for their own amusement in a gladitorial arena of some description

I see that the end is nigh. 8O

I wasted all my youth on fighting badgers, and now it seems they are winning and leaving me defeated.

Oh woe is me!! Image

Because of this thread, I had a dream about a huge family of badgers trying to adopt me as one of their own. And they smelled horrible.

No no, ermines are solitary creatures.... and I really wonder how the two get along. They share the same biotope and probably occasionally encounter one and other, I think. Um, I have a sense they do not like each other much. Territorial thing, food preference overlap, kids protection, etc....

Well, :P

I found a mangled mouse on the floor of Landlady's bedroom this morning when I went to feed the cats. Do you think a badger did it??
