Though I don't live in the UK, this seems pretty accurate. 
I am very, very green and am convinced that however we deal with other issues, it needs to be done in a sustainable way if we hope to have a future.
I am generally supportive of rights and freedoms, including progressive ones, although I don't place their importance above other things.
I embrace technology's role in the future, but aim to support policies that protect individuals from Big-Brotherism and abuse of personal information / repression.
I strongly support an economic system which remembers and supports "the little guy" and recognizes their contribution to the whole. I aim to support policies which don't skew towards wealth pooling at the top and bestowing disproportionate power on the wealthy.
But I also recognize personal responsibilities, and believe that labor needs to uphold its end of the bargain by working hard. I stop short of supporting any unsustainable economic giveaways... while reaffirming that wealth pooling at the top is unsustainable.
Finally, any extreme nationalistic attitudes or implementations of such policies really creep me out. People are people, wherever they come from and wherever they go. We should practice compassion, and extend hospitality to them, however I do also believe that with this invitation comes the obligation to contribute.
