It turns 60 degrees where you are but it's accompanied by high winds which knocks out the power to everyone in town.

I wish I was an expert in Russian ballet.

Granted, but now you feel compelled to become a ballet dancer, and you're terrible at it.

I wish the eye in the back of my head was actually a killer laser beam.

Granted, but some evil person has put in place a series of mirrors that deflect the beam straight to your own head.

I wish I had a dollar for every time a person used an emoticon on this site. , etc.

Granted, but after all tax and deductions you get nothing in return other then bill collectors knocking on your door.

I wish people were actually true and nice and kind to not only each other and them selves, but animals as well.

Granted, now the animals are no longer scared about human beings and tigers, bears, sharks and other animals start hunting an predating on human beings until the entire human race becomes extinct, since people are too nice to run away.

I wish every wish anyone has ever made upon this thread, were to come irrevocably true and uncorrupted (excepting for that of my own).

Granted, but it turns out that things aren't what they thought they would be. They should've been careful for what they wished for.

I wish this nice weather would stick around for awhile.

Granted, the weather sticks around for the next decade. No hotter weather for 10 years and no soothing rain for a decade.
