Australopithecus, despite his/her name, is not Australian at all.

He/she is actually from southern/eastern Africa.

Yep....I was into Early Man too much for the tastes of the 8th Grade Guidance Counselor whose name was Kaus.

liberal socially, conservative financially -- so long as orange ogres aren't in charge.

Fossil dinosaur. I do have a fossil hangbag. If you are referring to brands?

That's funny because Shelley drowned at sea.

I know Byron much better, but I am starting to really fall for Shelley.

Byron was a vain duelist. I pick Shelley; at least he was a sensible Romantic.

Mary Shelley, or Mary Wollstonecraft?

My best friend at age 15 was a grey long-haired Persian.

I agree, re: their personalities - Byron was scum, but I am more familiar with him because of his ties to the Brontës (e.g., the Byronic heroes). I have been reading Shelley's poetry and love its transcendence.

Mary Godwin Wollstonecraft Shelley
She was a beautiful mix of everyone. If I could add Brontë to her surname, I would.
