Depends on the marker. (Lol ur talking to someone that does hand lettering)
Id probably choose marker. A normal crayola marker is a good intro to basic brush calligraphy. If you were talking about chalkboard markers I love them because you can make much clearer lines and better chalk works. I actually just recently bought a new pack. Brush markers are one of my favorites. Im also a big fan of sharpies, paint markers, and dry erase. I do not like sketch markers however, and I will never color in a picture in marker.
