Banned for not remembering how the Danes forced in their concept of food to the British isles in the 9th century. The result was complete agreement.

Another thing is, of course, whether England in those days could be called civilized. After the Romans left, the remaining population couldn't even write their own history because nobody knew how to dip the quill into the inkwell. There's a span of 200 years of obscurity in England. -- This is my favorite topic, [gaps in] the history of England. I should have been borne there so that I could feel the ground under my feet, visit all the famous and interesting sites, ruins of castles and abbeys, Offa's dyke, Hadrian's wall, what ever. -- But no. Here I am, in the middle of gray landscape where it is nothing new if you hear a wolf howling.
