I used to be afraid of fog but now I love it. I love mist too, though.

Gloves. I have very poor manual dexterity with mittens.

I have a very classy, tailored black leather jacket that was my prized possession at one point. Now I don't wear it.
I love men who wear black jackets, though.

Parkas are much more practical

For comfort, the parka; for aesthetics, the leather jacket.

Do you like the look of plaid shirts and jeans?

Yes, I do. Plaid flannel is very nice, especially with a t-shirt underneath.

Do you wear boots regularly in the winter?

I dislike boots; but, in a practical sense, I should probably wear them.

"Rubbers" is another name for "galoshes" in the US. I believe the term might be archaic nowadays.

I used to like my "rubbers" because they fit snugly over my shoes/sneakers, and did not have to be buttoned or snapped. I've never heard of 'Wellies" until I've met people from the UK.

Both, really. I would guess "couch" was slightly more common than "sofa" when I was growing up. "Sofa" was sort of a more "classy" term.

I prefer "see-saw."

A "Teeter-totter" was that thing which Bobby and Cindy used to try to set a Guinness Book of Records record. It didn't seem like a true "see-saw" to me LOL

I'm highly allergic to wool and can't even be near it.

Cotton.

Wool makes me itchy. Cotton for me, too!

Duvet, or comforter?
