Putting the inner thingee INTO the duvet irritates me. It's not easy for me to do. My wife has to do it, and I'm not much help. Comforter for me!

Cotton sheets, or flannel sheets?

I figured out some tricks from youtube and I can do it now.

I can't sleep on flannel sheets but they feel nice on my hands.
I like cotton sateen sheets.

I tend to prefer soft sheets myself.

Bed skirt, or no bed skirt?

I prefer "regular" water from the faucet/tap.

Sateen is the softest that I've found.

Bed skirts are nice on pretty beds. Not so much in a man cave.
