a good painting and a magnifying glass can enrapture me for hours, exploring all the nooks and crannies, trying in vain to make myself enter the painting so i can explore it in earnest.

in my experience, people have shown me far more willingness to give me directions [even if it is just to the nether regions] than to give me a date upon my request.

Tough call. Do all Golfs have hatchbacks? I do like hatchbacks but I think I'm ready to graduate to a new sedan.

golf is the hatch version of the jetta, basically. the alltrack is the all-wheel-drive station wagon version of the golf. think of a jetta as a golf with a trunk. very similar. the american spec ones ride about as well as a passat. [read: softly over the bumpy roads, comfortably]. english-spec ones are usually somewhat stiffer as your roads aren't as ghastly as ours.

i'm a big old guy so i prefer the extra room in the passat. also the long wheelbase tames our nasty roads here.

Correct me if Im wrong, but isnt that the same thing? "Smithsonian National Museum of American History"?
