having driven one back in the day, i'll take the E300 in a heartbeat. it was like a rolling bank vault in terms of its quietness, isolation from road shocks, general unflappable comfort on any kind of road good and bad. one quibble was that its 134 horsepower and 153 lb/ft of torque were insufficient to haul that 3500 pounds around with anything resembling vigor.

Thank you Blabby, sadly I can see a touch of stomach flab coming back now but hopefully I'll take that back off this summer with a little change to my diet (too many pizzas). And actually, I think it might have been more like 70.

prego i can't seem to get rid of a discernible little donut around my belly button either. i avoid for the most part, all the bad foods and get daily vigorous exercise. but it has remained with me since childhood. must be in the genes or something, i betcha there IS a belly button donut gene amongst the bunch. anyways, my modified reuben and also with all the caraway seeds deleted.
