Now I've gone and posted the wrong type of question. I can only blame the port I'm drinking

Never tried absinthe. For all my love of wine, I don't have a stomach - far less a head - for anything like that.

It depends, but in general mashed. There are few greater dishes than bangers 'n' mash. I guess I'm working class at heart after all.

Glasses -- I like hiding behind them and I like the various styles. I'd feel too exposed in contacts.
