The SF phenomenon interests me more than 'Swinging London'. I've heard it said that the latter was mainly something experienced by media and showbiz types, and that most ordinary Londoners were unaware of it and never heard of it until years later. I certainly didn't, though I'm not a Londoner.

I'd like to be able to say Corbyn, as I support a number of Labour policies and very few Tory ones these days. However, he'd almost certainly be a disaster, as most of his MPs are opposed to him, so can't see him running a viable government. Johnson is an appalling character, but he'd have a chance of holding things together for at least two or three years of a parliament, though it'd probably still be a very damaging experience for the UK.
