age may define wisdom and wisdom may define age, but youth and beauty are deeper than the look of your face.
i wrote that just now; it means that while we may assume that those older than us are wise we should not at the same time assume that a young or beautiful face is an indication of someone good, with positive energy, or that they are in-fact beautiful... beauty is only skin deep, no?
what do you think?
I think beauty is skin deep, soul deep and spirit deep - that's how animals can be so beautiful. People can too - they all have some beauty somewhere: sometimes sitting in their eyes or a corner of their mind, sometimes hidden in their childhood, occasionally parading; or strewn across their face and manner in a haphazard, childlike way.

I have bucketloads. This was the last one in mind. I have put it on a metre and a half long canvas. So far it's bright orange. It just means I don't care about boys. Except, you know, platonically. Or, if I did decide to care one day then I would rather eat vomit than have someone incompatible because it's more comfortable to value self than not and consciously turn one's own perceptions to suit the purpose.
The punctuation is arbitrary and due to the nature of the writing fairly flexible.

I would wait
seven years
for love
I would carry
a hot coal as beauty
and hearten
at its flame
I would decide
when stars cross
I will focus:
Marry, marred
By sweetness, sweetened -
Carried, crossed,
found and lost -
In path, in blood
Tattooed, embossed
(I keep sweetness
in a tight vial)..
I would Wait seven years for Love.
I don't actually think it's a very good piece of writing but the meaning held importance at the time.

The next person to post likes it when people do really long posts of almost any nature, because they favour descriptives and so do quite a bit of writing of their own..
