Why, yes. I am actually a nursery manager by trade, but I have never really had a vegie patch. A few weeks ago I was in the seeds section of a large hardware shop and noticed an unusual type of pumpkin not available here.
'New England Pie' pumpkin.
Image
I bought a packet, soaked the seeds overnight, and put two seeds each into little pots. Twenty came up and I will plant them as soon as the root ball is robust. :)
I also bought two passionfruit and collected the seeds from them.
Passionfruit and pumpkin would have to be the two easiest food plants to grow, known to man! They come up in the compost and just 'appear' as weeds in the garden.
:)

The next person had look up the meanings of some of the words in my signature.
(I know I had to.)

Yes, there are a couple of words there that I wasn't familiar with. (And that's an impressive-looking pumpkin, by the way, syzygyish! :o )

The next person will tell us something interesting about pumpkins.

^^Yaye thankee jennyishere, I believe I shall indeedy if that is alrighty of course. believe happy, little, creatures live within pumpkins. Although they are not physical, I believe they are connected to the pumpkins and as the pumpkin grows, so too do the happy, little creatures within their own world. When a pumpkin is eaten, I believe the creatures then become connected to the happy friend who ate the pumpkin and bless with them with an additional happiness for their remaining life.

(^^I am very sorry if this is very silly of me however and perhaps not interesting for you)

^^I believe the next happy poster has eaten a happy pumpkin during the seven days past.
