Correct. My pitcher plant is flowering for the first time since I bought it. The flower buds still haven't opened so the flower itself is still a mystery. Just as long as it doesn't turn out to be a Triffid.

I wouldn't mind living in it! That reminds me, need to visit Botanical garden soon, since it reopened 12 days ago. Largest collection of magnolia trees in the town, plus two ginkgo trees, giant sequoia, collection of ferns etc etc.

I used to love chess (and some other board games) but now feel too old and lazy for it to be quite honest.

(I grew some of those as a kid. Also begonias, spider plants and fuschias then I built up a collection of cacti and succulents etc)

My favourite plant at the moment is my Gunnera manicata - which looks like a huge prehistoric rhubarb. It has just put some new shoots up - it dies back every Winter, but will soon be 6 feet high. The leaves are the size of umbrellas.
