yes ... well ... American radio stations don't play French chansons.... I do love a wide variety of music, but not too familiar with French chansons.....

On the internet yes they reduce my limited dial-up bandwidth to a crawl. I dislike those loud ones on television too so have the mute button handy.

I can't stand high tones (=pain) and all other too loud noise disable me from understanding (not pain, but i'm not capable of receiving messages or focus on something or do any other intelligent brainstuff (except sometimes monotonous repeating sounds if i'm used to it))

(^Interesting. That is how many sounds effect me. Vacuum cleaner = pain, other noises such as babies screaming in shops or many television adverts just overload my brain and I can't think.)
