Speaking of Christmas, here is a Christmas song sung by one of my favorite singers:

Seems like winter here already, it is 44°F (or 6°C) here and it has only became Autumn as of about 9 days ago.

Mmmm, ok. 8O :D

DarrylZero (avvie) style hats can be cool but good quality hats like that are quite expensive.... so thank you, save your money or buy something nice for your lady (hope I don't confuse you with an other here, I thought you talked about saving money for your wedding but ?)

I win, if I'm right and am banned if I'm wrong.

I was joking along with the Mars Attack alien theme and the tin foil hats that some conspiracy theorists supposedly wear.

Right now, I'm looking for work and trying to figure out some ways to start a small business. It is difficult to save money for me also, but moreover so without a job.

I knew you were joking along and I was just being silly.... cannot help myself sometimes, esp. in this thread.

But hey, hope you find a good job or be successful starting a small bizz yourself and do get the change to save some money (for a wedding? not?). I have a job but do not earn a lot of money shamefully. Yet try to save a little for my dream, id est, to buy some land and build my own little house on it.

When I succeed doing that, I truly would feel a winner.

Yes, I'm trying to save for the wedding of my girlfriend and myself. Being in college I am getting an excess funds check once every 3 months, however it is difficult for me to save with that. I stink at holding on to money. I never allow myself to have a negative balance, but I just tend to not hold onto money... I wish that would change.

Um, first, change = chance (meant chance in my post). Yeah, not to good holding onto money myself but must say, I've gradually learned to do better at it over the tears, um, years. One has to, I think. Shame to come to the conclusion but yeah, money (aside from fresh air, water, food, health, shelter and love) is truly the thing to have on this planet.

This capitalistic world seems to think that money is the main thing, the only thing and the trouble we're in at present is all related to that adage, I think.

But hey.... what to do, what to do? Simplex sigillum veri maybe and be satisfied/ok with a simple life and thus win. A little.

You're a philosophical little ermine today, aren't you? I'm not used to such meaningful posts in this thread- emoticon contests, yes, ponderings on the purpose of life, no. 8O

Oh well, I'm sure someone will come along soon to lower the tone again- we'll be back to bunnies before the day is over, no doubt. :?

Meanwhile, I win (only in an existential kind of way, of course!) :chin:
