your so sick of waiting in this line you do just that,

I wish there wasn't a musca flying around bothering me.

I wish the distribution of the accent keys in Spanish keyboards were standardized so I could touch-type without any hassles.

Granted, but that knocks out QWERTY keyboards, causing an angry mob to form and really cause keyboard factory explosions. Keys fly everywhere.

I wish I could learn French.

Spanish keyboards are QWERTY too; it's the accents at the right end that give me trouble. The models made for Latin America put the acute accent on the top row, after the P; and the models made for Spain put the acute accent on the middle row, after the Ñ (which is located after the L). I prefer the top row since that's the location that was used in typewriters, and that's the one I learned when I trained for touch-typing. Now I have to check every time I switch keyboards.

Your wish to learn French is granted: you learn Medieval French, which nobody (except the occasional minstrel) speaks anymore.

The nastiest wish I can imagine is to wish for unlimited wishes.

And... granted. The varied and contradictory things you wish for cancel each other out.

I wish soccer was abolished.
