:shameonyou:

Nuh-uh.

(Assuming you said what I think you said anyway. I'm certainly not the best at French.)

I'm not good at writing French so there may be errors.

However, I'm good at winning :D

Merde, au ret*d, comme d' habitude .... mais vous deux gagnez un stylo à bille avec le logo de Planète Renversé. (c'est un monde renversé, non?) Content?

I've been overwhelmed by the French.

I'm actually a little embarrassed by the fact that I know only one language. It makes me feel like one of those smug people who say "Why do I need to learn a foreign language, everyone speaks English," a view which I find contemptible.

Damn, now I'm wallowing in self-loathing. Could you all give me the thread out of pity?

Please correct my translation - it doesn't look right:

Shi*, Late as usual. but you both won a pen and ball with the logo of planet reversed. (It is a world reversed, no?) Happy?

Um, don't consider me an authority in the French language for I'm not. At all, mais une petite chose (one little thing), 'un stylo à bille' is a ball pen. (little sidetracking here but I thought it was a French invention even. Maybe biased info for my old French teach said so.... something to do with mankind going airborne more and more and the old pen, the fountain-pen, started leaking and ruining clothes and things when the plane was of the ground. Not sure but I thought it was 'Bic' that thought of the ball pen. No stupid man, who thought this through, I say.

(Btw, I wish someone would correct my English also sometimes)

Oh, I meant Wrong Planet (Planète Renversé.... ), to me it not so much 'wrong' as in fault or bad but more reversed, upside down, so to say. I don't know, my interpretation. Probably wrong translation by me.

I interpret it not so much as faulty or bad either, but more of "misplaced". All my life I've felt like I've been dropped off on the wrong planet - in the sense of a bus driver has let me get off the bus at the wrong bus stop and I'm nowhere near home and lost.

I've had lots of practice speaking French at the hospital today. There is a question I wanted to ask and I've forgotten it again. I must be going senile - but then I am 149

Dude, I held the winning spot for 6 hours and 44 minutes...

Which makes it a really good win.

And yes, I win.
