Fluent. Would love to learn another language -- once my life gets a little more settled!

Correct. My CV looks like the history of computing! I'd guess maybe 15 languages.

The next person isn't interested in how computers work, provided they do work.

I think I'd find it interesting if it didn't make my head spin Strangely enough, I was relatively competent before WYSIWYG. I could handle DOS and plain SQL. It's when the computer tries to anticipate what I want and doesn't just let me tell it precisely what to do that I get exasperated with it. Which has been the past 20 years.....

No I find the smell mildly pleasant. (Unlike a leather tanner works I used to have to walk past when I was a student in England. The stench was absolutely gut wrenching.
