Yikes! How did your neck go bad?

Long story but the gist of it is that the nerves exiting my spinal column in my neck swelled up and caused chronic pain, there was also constriction of my spinal cord. I was facing major surgery but it went into remission and has been more or less ok for several years now, I just have to take care of my neck not to upset it.

The problem was made worse by my local doctor. He prescribed a support collar for my "stiff neck" but that resulted in complete loss of movement of my neck. It took physiotherapists months of work and lots of traction to get it moving again properly. They said the collar had made the problem far worse instead of helping. I'll have a look at your link.

It's a kind of chiropractic, but no cracking and forcing of anything ... very gentle. That's the kind of specialist who took care of me today.

I saw one of those too at the time and went for several visits a week. It turned out quite expensive. He did have an excellent neck traction machine though. Bliss.
