The thing about justice is that the punishment should fit the crime committed. Mercy is preferable to exacting justice, but in cases such as against the Nazis they needed justice to be performed on them. In cases like with bureaucratic mismanagement of disasters, it is not a crime committed by a single person but rather the complete lack of competency inherent in all bureaucracies. If a punishment were to be given it would be that their paychecks had to pass hands through an hundred bureaucrats each, all having to sign in triplicate forms saying that another bureaucrat's paycheck was in their responsibility and that it had been passed on to the next... ad naseum.

I've wanted to work at an office before. I think it's sad that office workers get paid so much more than people who work physically though.

I've worked in both manual, technical and office jobs over the years. Each has its benefits and problems, all can be demanding.
