@Tallyman.. Ah, home grown tomatoes. They're the best. Um, I had a t-plant in a pot but it didn't give a luscious 'harvest' this year. You seem to have quite a bit of land.. you mentioning all sorts of crop through your posts here and there. Well, very cool, I say.

You are so lucky to have a bumper crop of tomatoes (although I do know how "too many" can be) ... it's not been a great year for them here.

Some crops have done too well, some have failed. The lack of rain has been a big problem, so only those crops that have been hand watered have done well. The courgettes (zuccini) are attempting to take over the world and have created massive torpedoes ready to attack! I keep pulling them off and composting them but they soon counter attack with another load!

Yeah ... at least tomatoes can well. Zucchini ... well, other than making them into quick bread and freezing it, there's not much I know to do with them. Nowadays you can buy decent quality frozen sliced zucchini, but I don't know if it's possible to freeze it well with a regular home freezer.

Anyway, bringing the WIN back to Maryland now.
