I found the first ten minutes a bit too violent for my taste, but it developed into a good movie. I generally like Stanley Kubrik's films. I thought the acting of the guy in the wheelchair brilliant. I've never seen anyone express "seething rage" so well. :lol:

Yes, I recognised the character. I read the novel and saw the film many years ago. "Droog" is a slang expression from the novel- it means "friend."
