I know there are some people around here who are interested in linguistics and others who are interested in logic in general, so you might be interested in these puzzles. These are puzzles that give you information in a foreign language or alphabet and you have to break the code or figure out the pattern to solve the puzzle.

The first link is for linguistics puzzles from the Princeton University linguistics department. They are graded in order of difficulty from beginner to extra hard. http://webscript.princeton.edu/~lingclub/challenge/puzzles.php

The second link is to past challenges from the North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad, a competition for high school students. The page that opens up in the link has the 2011 puzzles, but you can find more puzzles by clicking on "Past Olympiads" in the right sidebar. http://www.naclo.cs.cmu.edu/naclo11.php

Have fun!
