Love this site! There are some good looking kitties there. I see quite a few Siamese, even a couple of Lynx points.

Cats must like lying in the sink when it's hot because its cooler in the sink.

omg...i love that! our oldest kitty used to sleep in the sink all the time, now he's unable to get up there so he doesn't do it any more. our other two never took a liking for sinks, so i just thought the oldest was a little 'strange'.
apparently not....

Great! My cat doesn't lay down in sinks. But she's often there because she only drinks water from taps.

Actually some cats are in the sink because they have a bladder infection. If they associate pain in urinating with their litterbox they will find someplace else to go thinking it will hurt less. So many cats literally "go" to the sink. If you see any yellow stains on the porcelin you'll know why! I read that once in a book and I did have a cat that peed in the tub when she got a bladder infection.
