When generically spoken or implied and even when what may be assumed without clarification as it has been used countless times to remove treatment rights advancements in PR by arguing it is similar to the intolerance experienced by being gay is no where near similar enough to be akin to have autism. Viewing autism as a disability is not the same as not viewing gay people respectfully. This needs to be made clear as to many times others have been made out to be intolerant by using gay politics to force views about autism as a whole. In how some or many more with autism experience life in relation to others without autism by being bullied or treated poorly I think this is where the comparison or suggested association can be made better. It's how others treat people with autism as in human behavioral relations and not advancements in medical and other therapeutic treatments which is where a conflict in the right to treatment and even dignity can be made.

Do you understand?

No. I gave up very quickly.

As I explained to you, your writing is often painful to parse, and you haven't made it worth my while to bother any more. For some reason, when you get in certain modes your writing becomes a thick wall of weeds. This is one of those passages.

Please don't waste any more time writing this stuff until you learn to write it better.

I just think you don't want to understand because you don't take a word or phrase out of it and ask specific questions as if you honestly want to figure it out. My suggestion is just don't participate in my posts as it takes my time and yours.

ci - I'm going to walk away for tonight.

You are right where you started, and I can't see any point in continuing this conversation.

Then again, my posts in these threads haven't been primarily for you, but for the people who look at these threads out of morbid curiousity.

I wish you well and hope that some of what people have said sinks in over time.

Don't want to understand? I can't beldieve you would slip that in. You really are desperate to prove you are right cand keep up your internal facade. You shouldn't post rubbish and lies and slander and morever baseless faith. Why? Because it's wrong! How long until you admit that you have never been able to say any major thing that is right? All you have done is defend your petty arrogance? There are no major ideals or good words. You are desolate of good sense.

Do you have anything at all constructive to say other then name call, demean and create personal attacks. You go from post to post of mine and do the same things and it never works. You could always try to do the constructive thing and rationalize issues with me line by line but I think your to angry and taking it out on me to bother. With regards to the previous poster I was contacted privately and it's not taken seriously.

It goes to show to represent personal rights with some objection some will go as far as attack unrelated efforts of equal opportunity. It's what some pride advocates did originally to myself because something about it didn't have a view they wanted of it. Some advocates pride or not will seek vengeance against anyone to hurt them for thinking differently then them. I can say I am confident regardless. As far as you I think you got a very bad attitude and should try to be constructive and talk reasonable or leave the post. It;'s that simple.

I think Alan put it best...ci needs to learn to practice misconception avoidance...rather intensively...in fact I will hazard that it is one of those urgent specifics where ABA is topically appropriate...

However I'd state the issues are of much greater social depth then what some would like to orientated and I've talked about these issues with professionals. To say they agree with me would just entail the stereotypical opposition against them. Look forward to topics in the coming days.

I hope you didn't think that I was accusing you of anything. That's why I laid out both sides, just to make sure we were on the same page. Thanks anyway :3

Unfortunitly Vermont typically agrees then disagrees with any major side then has nothing of a side of his own. The demise of ASAN as they are bad, that they are arrogant and then the demise of Autism Speaks and that Supremacy is just as bad as them and that it is not that bad after-all. He'll take a small stab at anyone as long as they are down and it's seemingly safe. Backing only some up when the few of them cowardly embark on a name calling adventure with very little constructive input otherwise seems "safe" to him in the moment with less risk of agreeing but later not agreeing but enough now not for as much risk as before. Just another low handed tactic to join on in what clearly is nothing other then a free for all by a few nasty session against someone whom will not take the few seriously when they got nothing but nasty things to say that are entirely out for some vindictiveness blood. Whom reasonably goes along with such foul verbiages and has respect for themselves and their views anyways. No one willing to go on official record.

I am sure if Vermont had someone disagreeing with him for actually standing up for something he believed in and then for doing so attacked his efforts at a business it would be different when the business had nothing to do with it. Really quite strange as he is one of the ones that got me to come to this forum because he liked my pride and cure views, lost taste for it as one or two too many posts about it and as it is was different originally like a fancy car he is able to buy randomly with his wealth he has on to the next.

I still challenge constructive, meaningful and serious discussion to take place that seeks to evolve the debate in a small setting here without the personal attacks between one another. So again the offer is to take a line by line approach to an issue without the sharp rude fangs of vindictiveness and honestly have a an effort at it. The rules being no name calling, no personal attacks and intent to constructively understand one another. It's up to you as the name calling and so on seems only to me to avoid the topic at hand because a few are fearful of the subject becoming understood.

Mr. Vermont I really did expect better from you or to at least to stay out of such clear put downs. It had completely change my respect and assumed character of you.

I'm sorry what exactly are you suggesting.......I don't understand what you are getting at in your OP.

Is it that AS is a disability that many people struggle with and so you do not like autism supremacy and think there are better ways to solve some of the issues that face people with AS?

or was it something else? sorry it was rather hard to read......I am not trying to be mean, sarcastic, stupid or anything else I just would like to understand what the point of this post is so maybe I can form an opinion.

The intent of the post was to move beyond what seems to be the rigid sides. I think progress can be made with really good PR toward the public to help change lives. I think this can be achieved by looking at past and present movements that are successful and using strategies they have used. A mentality more about being friendly to get stuff done then confrontation to force things to get done because of personal beliefs and transcending rigid political expectation in autism politics with a more universal appeal to get change accomplished for improving lives for inclusion as an example.

One of the worse kinds of PR examples that can be found to accomplish change is any kind of "world" against us types of mentalities. The N.T's vs. us instead of creating allies out of the mainstream to help accomplish change. If we can adapt to the issues at hands but respecting some want a cure and some do not want a cure the debate I think may be evolved to a point where more time and energy is spent on other issues.

Ok so you don't like the us against them mentality, that I agree with it is best to try and get support from everyone not view 'them' as evil for instance. And I also agree that those who wish to be treated or cured should have that right and it should not be pushed on anyone. So I see what you are saying there.......but what are you looking to acheive exactly? more tolerance in general, more tolerance in the work place and respect to how AS and autism in general effects them?
