These kids thought it be a wonderful prank to add her name to the ballet just so she get the least votes and tell her "See told you no one likes you" but instead other students did a wonderful thing for her.

That's great! Bullying is terrible, and unfortunately so very common.

Nice.

The school "does not tolerate bullying." There's a shock. It's also the problem. Bullies often have some route problem that causes the behavior, at least for what I'd call "career bullies." If these bullies really took to heart that they could create something this positive, even by accident, maybe they'd find something better to do.

She has a fantastic aspie mom, who was clever enough to make this happen.

I hope that one day I could help a young aspie like that

That's right. Glad to read that she had fun rather than choose to brood on the fact that it started as a cruel joke. You know what, there was a story on the news sort of like this one. At another high school, a girl with Down Syndrome became homecoming queen.

It's great that she seized the opportunity to have fun, regardless of what the bullies tried to do.

I saw another article about this on my Facebook, and I was going to start a thread before seeing this one.

Aye, and it was all thought up by the mother. Good job on her part. Nice to know some good news gets around.
