That's what Jacob Weisberg, author of Ronald Reagan, said on C-Span's Book TV said on January 8, 2016.
He said, He kept these meticulous diaries. And the diaries are a little [pause] . . . Aspergers-ey. There's no, He doesn't say anything about anything. He just says what happened.

As long as we don't make too big a deal about this, I think this is a positive.
And yes, I wish Jacob Weisberg had better understood the Spectrum so he could have included something more educational such as:
People on the Aspergers-Autism Spectrum tend to have patchy social and intellectual skills, and that's okay. The goal is to play to strength and be matter-of-fact about deficiencies, and
People on the Spectrum often have sensory issues where something like a buzzing fluorescent light might bother them more than average, and that's okay, too. This is something which we should just be matter-of-fact about, too.
But even with the author merely doing an okay job, I still think this is probably a positive.
