I came across a very interesting online book:

Autistic Community and the Neurodiversity Movement: Stories from the Frontline, an anthology edited by Steven K. Kapp.

I was particularly interested to read the first chapter, Historicizing Jim Sinclair’s “Don’t Mourn for Us”: A Cultural and Intellectual History of Neurodiversity’s First Manifesto by Sarah Pripas-Kapit. The groundbreaking 1993 article it discusses, Jim Sinclair’s “Don’t Mourn for Us”, can be found here. I found the chapter by John Elder Robison on his time advising Autism Speaks very interesting also.
