The people who produced the 10 episode program "Carrier" is shooting a 4 episode (minimum) on the Big Apple Circus.

I have found out that most people here to do not want to be filmed. From what I have seen the production company looks pretty desperate looking for content for the program. Tomorrow morning they will be outside at sunrise filming. I go to work at 5:30 am (have a 2 minute commute on my bicycle) so I know that if they are lucky they will find 4 people walking around.

A small part of me actually considered approaching someone and telling them I will be going through with the procedure in late October to find out if I do have Asperger's. But then I thought I don't have a clue as to what I could be getting myself into. They will be filming for a complete year. In a way I look at it that I would be doing them a favor, since it looks as though they are desperate. But on the other hand I am afraid that I am just looking for attention, and trying to make the other people I work with feel as though I might be special.

Last year the Food Network filmed "Dinner Impossible". I work in the cookhouse with 3 others. The only time I was on camera is when the first arrived and I was walking away from them. It left me feeling a little hurt, left out. Everyone else was there. Maybe I'm trying to compensate for that. I don't know.

I just wanted to find out what anyone here thinks about the situation. For some reason my little brain will not cooperate with me when I try to figure out what the consequences could possibly be.

Thanks a lot. irene :clown:
