This may just be me, but why is it that we have these awareness programs and topics of change, dipicting many great and in my opinion ideas that really need to be put into action, never really go past words. Actions never really happen for alot of these autism and other minorities "rights" debates. Is it just a lesson to learn in life, and I just haven't learned it yet ( only 15 ). Why are no actions ever taken in our society for the minorities, and pardon me if this should be put into another form area.

Because talking about a problem is much easier than actually doing something to solve it, so most people follow the path of least resistance.

You can either talk about a situation, or do something about it. And to do something, you need financial backing. To get that backing, you have to convince those with money to part with some of it.

And in the current economy ... :roll:
