I use the spray-on stuff. It feels just as gross, but at least you don't have to get it on your hands.

I use green people organic sunscreen, I find it non stinging and not too bad.

I would recommend coppertone water babies lotion pure and simple spf 50. It contains zinc oxide so it will makes your skin white but i dont get burnt when i use it. Its also priced reasonable at around 8 USD for 8 oz. With any sunscreen make sure you apply it 20 min before you go outside so it has time to absorb into your skin. You could also make your own sunscreen if you have the time. Here is a cool video on how to do it.

There's this sunscreen that's a powder instead of a cream. You might find it at the makeup counter at a department store. You dust it onto your body. However, it's not water-resistent.

I hate heavy, greasy sunscreen. The worst I ever tried was Bull Frog. Not knocking the product because it works exceedingly well, once you apply it. But I couldn't stand the way the stuff made my skin feel. It felt like I had an impervious layer of slime on my skin & it couldn't breathe right. It was very uncomfortable. My kids hated it too for the same reason. And it was difficult to remove! I'm really fair skinned (unfortunately) so I use Banana Boat clear ultra mist 85 spf for kids. I feel if it's safe enough for them, it should be ok for me (sensitive skin). Has a pleasant smell, not too greasy & it's a spray on,so you don't have to rub it in if you choose not to. I use a high spf so I don't have to reapply it often.
