RB Maurice Jones-Drew is now a Raider.

LB LaMarr Woodley is also a Raider.

You're right. They did. He is now a free agent.


It was BS. It's not coincidental the news of the "gang ties" broke before the cut. They could have cut him during training camp while holding out for one of those freak injuries other players get and trading him for at least a draft pick.

When I was a kid, they used to kick off from the 40 yard line; now they kick off from the 30 yard line. Same result, usually.

They recently moved the kickoff to the 35 yard line. Resulting in many more touchbacks.

Touchbacks really screw up the game. I like to watch kickoff returns.

There used to be this guy named Billy "White Shoes" Johnson of the Houston Oilers. He was a great kickoff returner. The coach of that team was a funny guy by the name of Bum Phillips. Phillips passed away very recently.
