I have hockey later.

Hockey! That will get the heart pumping, for sure. Do you play often?
I like to watch the games when there is an opportunity.
Once a week, except for bye weeks. I might start dropping in on Thursdays for pick-up hockey in another town as well. It's about twice as far to drive, but the practice should help.
It definitely gets the heart pumping. The shifts are short (90 - 120 seconds is typical), but you're playing hard the entire time. I'm trying to work on my conditioning as much as possible because I typically spend the entire shift running faster than a jogging pace (but not quite full-on sprinting).
It's a lot more intense than I remember soccer being.
